To explain it simply, clean eating is a diet that emphasizes minimally processed, whole foods that are high in nutrients. This means you’ll consume more whole foods like fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats while cutting back on overly processed snack meals, sweets, and other packaged items.

10. Healthy Sweet Potato Casserole
This 21 Day Fix Sweet Potato Casserole is a healthy and delicious holiday side dish recipe, made with clean ingredients and butternut squash for some extra veggie power. Topped with pecan streusel, this is just as good as (or better than!) traditional sweet potato casserole.
To make this sinful side dish healthier and FIX friendly, I used half sweet potato and half butternut squash for extra veggie power.

9. Baked Stuffed Pumpkin
This Quinoa Stuffed Pumpkin Recipe with Venison, Cherries & Squash will be a show stopping recipe on your holiday table this Thanksgiving.
However, instead of wild rice, I decided to use quinoa stuffed inside the pumpkin. The result is a sweet and savory stuffed pumpkin recipe that’s impressive to look at but surprisingly simple to make.

8. Healthy Instant Pot Brown Rice Pudding
This healthy instant pot brown rice pudding recipe has all the flavors of the creamy rice pudding recipe you grew up loving, but it’s dairy-free, gluten-free, refined-sugar-free, and 21 Day Fix approved, of course!
To sweeten this recipe, I used maple syrup, but I also love it with raw sugar or coconut sugar.

7. Chocolate Peppermint Log
With Christmas less than a month away, it was high time for me to bake something pepperminty! I decided to turn my favorite, on-plan, completely flourless chocolate roll cake into a low-carb Chocolate Peppermint Log, and oooooh boy, did it hit the spot!
Don’t be intimidated by the roll; since there’s no flour in the cake, it rolls up like a dream and is virtually impossible to crack! The key is to flip your cake from the jelly roll pan onto the tea towel, and roll it up as soon as it comes out of the oven.

6. Cucumber Hummus Bites
Cucumber Hummus Bites make the perfect finger food and appetizer for your next party or get together. Crisp cucumbers slices are topped with roasted red pepper hummus, tomatoes, feta cheese and fresh parsley.
Hummus is my go-to snack, spread for Beef Shawarma Wraps, a Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich, or an addition to Mediterranean Chicken.

5. Air Fryer Roasted Butternut Squash
Air Fryer Roasted Butternut Squash is a perfect holiday side dish. Especially with plenty of earthy mushrooms, savory green onions, and sweet-tart dried cranberries in the mix!
If you’ve never roasted vegetables in your air fryer, you are in for a treat! Air fryer butternut squash cooks in about half the time that it takes in a regular oven, and the results are tender and so flavorful.

4. White Bean Artichoke Dip
White Bean Artichoke Dip is a healthy appetizer, snack or spread for sandwiches. White beans, artichokes, lemon juice, olive oil, cayenne pepper, basil and garlic are blended and topped with fresh basil and parsley to create a healthy, flavorful dip.
White Bean Artichoke Dip is not only healthy but tastes delicious. I love the addition of the cayenne pepper to give it some kick but you can leave that out if you aren’t into spice.

3. Whole Roasted Cauliflower – BBQ flavored
Get your lunching game on with this delicious cauliflower recipe that will change the way you see this veggie forever! I present to you: whole roasted cauliflower!
What I love most about this recipe is how well the cauliflower absorbs the barbecue sauce, if you keep it in the oven long enough. It’s amazing that a vegetable can do that, it’s just one of the magic properties of cauliflower.

2. Healthy Green Bean Casserole! – vegan, gluten free, paleo
This Healthy Green Bean Casserole is a clean eating version of traditional Holiday fare, but it’s great anytime of year. It’s not only gluten free, but works for many different special diets, and it’s super tasty too!
One of my FAVORITE Holiday foods is green bean casserole. I mean, I love the turkey and sweet potatoes, and cranberry sauce–and of COURSE pumpkin pie…but really, I just LOVE green bean casserole.
