How to make perfectly juicy oven-roasted turkey breast with garlic, herbs, and orange. We love roasting turkey breast. It’s much quicker to make than a whole turkey but will still easily serve six. Jump to the Garlic Herb Roasted Turkey Breast Recipe or read on to see our tips for making it.
It’s unbelievably moist and juicy, too. You can play around with the flavors, but our recipe calls for the classics – mustard, garlic, rosemary, sage, and orange. We absolutely love it. It’s simple, beautiful and perfect for sharing with family. For another simple meal, try our whole roasted chicken with lemon.

7. Deep Fried Sriracha Turkey
Most American families wouldn’t dream of celebrating Thanksgiving without a turkey. We usually roast or smoke ours, but with this year’s “Thanksgivukah” celebration– the rare convergence of the Thanksgiving and Hanukkah holidays– deep frying seemed a more fitting way to go. Many traditional Hanukkah foods are fried to symbolize the miracle of the oil in the Holy Temple, so deep frying the turkey seems like a no-brainer.
In addition to the obvious symbolism, a turkey can be fried in less than an hour (really!), giving you more time to spend with your guests. But frying wasn’t enough for me. I find turkey meat pretty boring, even when it’s deep fried. I wanted more flavor out of this holiday centerpiece. Enter sriracha to save the day!

6. Brined and Grilled Turkey
This is a time-saving, oven-saving way to make a Thanksgiving turkey. I’ve been brining my turkey for years. I usually boil a pot of water and dissolve some salt, sugar and herbs in the pot; wait for it to cool and then pour it over Tom the turkey and let it bathe for 24 hours.
Brining helps the turkey, especially the white meat, stay nice and juicy because it breaks down the proteins. But it takes time because, not only do you have to wait for the brine to cool, but you also have to allow a day for the bird to marinate. This year, I cut some corners without sacrificing flavor. I used pre-made brine, and I brined the turkey and thawed it at the same time.

5. Turkey Breast Wrapped in Prosciutto
Buying the turkey breast: You can get turkey breasts, bone in or boneless and both will work fine for the recipe. Just depends on how handy you are with your fillet knife. If at all possible, try to get a fresh one that hasn’t been shot up with sodium filler. Make sure your knife is sharp and don’t worry, you can’t screw this up! If you have several pieces, just press them together before you pound it. Once it’s all wrapped up, no one will never know!
The filling: I used stuffing because that’s what I had…but roasted red peppers and Fontina would be yummy, so would spinach and ricotta. Turkey Roll Corden’ Blue? Why not, sounds delicious to me!

4. Mayonnaise Roasted Turkey Recipe
This Mayonnaise Roasted Turkey Recipe may sound a little different, but I think you will be surprised at the delicious results. Time and time again this turkey recipe and method has proved to be a real winner and has become the easiest part of a meal.
Over the years, we’ve cooked turkey every which of way: roasted and basted, and basted, and basted with all kinds of combinations of ingredients, roasted in a bag, fried (of course), we’ve brined and have gone brine-less. Honestly, I think less is best in my book. Less messing. Less stuff. Less time.

3. Bacon-Blanketed, Herb Roasted Turkey
This is the turkey. I’ve been perfecting this for many years now. I must say, it is a showstopper, and delicious to boot, because I treat it well. I send my turkey to a bacon spa. It gets a salt scrub, a bacon butter deep tissue massage, a hand-woven bacon spa robe, some time in the sauna and a little tanning to finish it off.
I’ve got a set of instructions here, more than a recipe, but this way there is enough detail to produce a beautiful bird.

2. Blood Orange Turkey Breast
Does everyone in your family only like the white meat? You’re not alone. The problem with that is cooking the turkey breast alone can be a bit dry, and uninspired. No worries, Blood Orange Turkey Breast is a unique twist on an old-time favorite. Baked in 45 minutes, you don’t have to plan 2 days in advance for the big day!
I love the nummy flavors in this recipe. The tart sweetness of the blood orange compliments the grainy mustard and savory herbs in a totally awesome way. Why don’t we use tarragon more often… note to self…
