I love yellow and orange color. you would know by seeing my blog. So this soup has my heart too! Okay, it is not just the right color, it is also healthy and so creamy. I am a sucker for creamy goodness like this cauliflower soup and broccoli cheddar soup.

9. Pumpkin Soup
Easy pumpkin soup with millet served in pumpkin bowls is nourishing and comforting while being gluten-free and vegan! This recipe doesn’t require a blender!
The idea of this soup came from my husband. He said, what if we combine three different kinds of pumpkin in a soup? Their textures will complete each other, so the soup will be chunky, creamy and crunchy at the same time! Just what you need for the perfect balance of textures.

7. Chickpea Pot Pie
Is there anything more comforting on a crisp Autumn evening than a pot pie? Especially a homemade one! Your home fills with the aroma of the dinner to come… I absolutely LOVE pot pie, and this was one of the first things I “veganized” when my family went vegan.
In this recipe I used pre-made pie crusts, but you could totally go all out and make your own! when using the pre-made crusts this recipe comes together rather quickly-its just the baking that takes the time. Oh, but it is WELL worth the wait!

5. Mushroom Lentil Loaf with Cranberries
It happens every year. I think I have loads of time and then all of a sudden that time slips through my fingers and it’s here and I’m in a mad panic to get everything organized.
Because it’s the festive season, and it’s always super busy, I am always in need of recipes that feel festive but aren’t too difficult, and bonus points if they can be prepared ahead of the big day. And boy have I got all those points covered with this Mushroom Lentil Loaf with Cranberries recipe.

4. Vegan Meatloaf with Gravy
This vegan meatloaf is easy to make and super tasty! It has a deep & savoury flavour and comes with a great gravy recipe too!
By popular reader request, here is a fantastic vegan meatloaf recipe. It’s a favourite in our house for sure and when I crave comfort food it really hits the spot, especially when served with a pile of creamy vegan mashed potatoes and my roasted red cabbage.

3. Thanksgiving Meatless Loaf
It doesn’t taste like meat. It doesn’t even pretend to have the texture of meat. But if you like savory, Thanksgiving flavors so concentrated that you can just skip the gravy and dressing, you will want to give this recipe a try.
So it’s brown and slightly crispy on the outside like a traditional meatloaf, but the inside is almost as tender as mashed potatoes, partly because it does, in fact, contain mashed (sweet) potatoes.

2. Vegan Nut Roast
Simple to make and delicious hot or cold this Vegan Nut Roast is the classic main course for a veggie Christmas.
I chose to make this Nut Roast as it’s something that you can easily make in advance (keeps up to 3 months in the freezer or in the fridge for 3 days). I also really love Nut Roast but had never made one. I have a long list of dishes like this, stuffed peppers and mushrooms being 2 others that spring to mind!

1. Vegan Sourdough Bread Stuffing
This Vegan Sourdough Bread Stuffing tastes just like a classic stuffing recipe, but with a subtle zing in every bite.
Stuffing is the most popular side dish for Thanksgiving and Christmas which means it’s usually the first to run out. So, it’s wise to get it while you can or it will be gone! Instead of going for seconds, I just pile a mountain of vegan stuffing on my plate, along with Creamy Mashed Potatoes, and, Vegan Green Bean Casserole. This way I won’t miss out on the goodness!
